Verona police responded to Municipal Lot 1, next to Park Place, at 10:59 p.m. after multiple 9-1-1 calls reported gunshots, the department said in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found a large crowd leaving the Palmetto Venue at 10 Park Pl., where a fight between guests escalated into a shooting in the parking lot, police said.
Two men were treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to University Hospital, according to authorities. Police later learned that a man and a woman had also been shot but drove themselves to local hospitals before officers arrived.
Police believe this was an isolated incident between people at the party and that there is no threat to the public.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, with more updates to follow, police said.
